We met outside our university classroom on the first day of class in London, UK. A shared love of food and willingness to lunch together after class made us fast friends, and we remained so throughout university.

After graduating, we each went our separate ways until a trip to Seoul on my (Faye's) part got us talking again, and we started dating long distance right when the pandemic started. A year later, I decided to move to Seoul, and now, nearly 4 years later, here we are!
